Effective PoE Camera System, Installation Takes Work
This camera system is intended for home security, including deterring porch pirates. Installation requires routing cables through an attic and drilling holes to reach the cameras; hiring a professional is an option, but it can be done yourself with help. Power over Ethernet simplifies wiring since each camera needs only one cable. The cameras mount permanently and their security depends on the mounting method used, such as long wood screws under eaves. The DVR and cameras work well. The phone app is not used and cannot be evaluated. Installation is difficult but ultimately worthwhile.
